Brandman University Online (Reviews)

Brandman University is a private, nonprofit and fully accredited university under the Chapman University System. The University was renamed in 2010 from University College. Brandman College began as a school for educating military personnel, but now offers over 25 campuses throughout California and Washington as well as online offerings. The school is known for degrees in education, healthcare, psychology and business.

Drawing from the liberal arts focus of Chapman University, Brandman University offers Associate’s of Arts, Bachelor’s of Arts, Bachelor’s of Business Administration, Master’s of Arts and Master’s of Business Administration degrees entirely online. Students entering the Bachelor’s or Associate’s program must have at least 12 transferable credits before enrollment.

The School of Nursing and Health Professions offers degrees from the RN to BSN level through the DNP level that combine online courses, internships and clinical practice and immersion sessions including Masters of Health Administration and several Nurse Practitioner degrees.

Courses are offered in a 9-week schedule and admissions to all schools other than the School of Nursing and Health Professions are on a rolling-basis. Financial aid is available through federal and state sources, as are private loans. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Teacher training for California is also accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
