Everglades University is a college whose primary goal is to educate adults regardless of their background in a place where a cooperative mindset is used to help its students become more knowledgeable and to help them attain growth as an individual. By keeping the class size as small as possible and using innovative teaching programs and still maintaining what works from traditional education, the university is able to achieve this goal for the majority of its students. Everglades University uses the principles of applied research, contribution to scholarship, and a service oriented approach to provide students with graduate and undergraduate learning programs both in the school and online.

Everglades University is focused on continuously improving and adapting to our changing world to keep its students prepared for employment in the business world. The faculty consists of people who are informed about the way that the current is changing in the field that they teach. Teachers are still professionally involved in the fields that they talk to their students about.

The university aims to improve the written and vocal skills of its students, and to teach them skills that are useful for the specific type of work that they are seeking. The staff is there to help students understand how to pay for school and get the experience that they need.
