Canada’s largest school of independent online study, ICS Canada offers more than 50 career diploma programs that keep costs affordable for home study. The school is fully accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council, which credentials distance-learning institutions that meet its quality-assurance standards.

More than 16,000 Canadians are now enrolled with ICS Canada, which also draws students from Mexico and Australia.

Among its newest offerings are courses that prepare students for careers as an employee relations officer, as well as certificates in Internet marketing, photography, public relations and sports nutrition.

ICS Canada enables students to earn their high school diploma, and it delivers courses in seven other schools: business, health services, technology, legal studies, education, creative and trades.

It dates back to 1890, when newspaperman Thomas J. Foster became one of the first to recognize the value of independent study and developed the ICS distance-learning approach, which helped coal miners become mine superintendents and foremen.
