Norwich University, located in Northfield, Vermont offers a School of Graduate Studies completely online. Students can enroll in a variety of Master’s degree programs, including accounting, civil engineering, diplomacy, business continuity, military history, business administration, information assurance, nursing, and public administration.
Norwich’s online program emphasizes experiential learning with interactive classes and hands-on learning. Tuition ranges from $591 to $779 per credit and includes the cost of books. The programs are structured in six online seminars, each one lasting about 11 weeks. Students then attend a week-long residency on campus, followed by their graduation ceremony. Students earn their Master’s degree in a total of 18 to 24 months, depending on their start date. Norwich prides itself on its online School of Graduate Studies, which was ranked as a top institution for a Masters degree in the 2009 U.S. News and World Report.
Norwich was the first private military academy in the nation as well as the birthplace of the ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) and offers special benefits for military personnel.
