Post University is a small, for profit-university in Waterbury, Connecticut. The school also has satellite campuses in Danbury, Meriden and Norwalk. In 1996, Post University established an accelerated online degree program offering Associate’s Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees plus professional certificate programs. The Online Education Database (OEDB) ranks Post University Online as one of the Top 20 online schools and universities.

Courses at Post University are scheduled in 8-week modules and offered six times a year. Under this schedule, Bachelor’s Degrees can be earned in as little as 18 months and Master’s Degrees take 12-24 months. Post University offers Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Child Studies, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, and Management for Registered Nurses entirely online. Graduate degrees include online MBA programs, Master of Education, and Master of Science in Human Services.

Interested applicants must submit high school and college transcripts, although students may take up to twelve credit hours while undergoing the admissions process. At the graduate level, two letters of recommendation are also required plus a phone interview with admissions. Special programs for members of the US military are available. Post University is licensed through the Connecticut State Department of Higher Education and accredited through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
